Before he was lead rapper in Public Enemy, Chuck D was a graphic designer. I first showed him a pencil sketch of this backstage at a London show, receiving a positive reaction - rare praise from the man responsible for PE's infamous target logo. The finished image used as part of the final artwork for PE's 2005 album New Whirl Odor.
